Event Information

The spirit of the holiday season is all about giving! Paw-tnering with local, animal-related nonprofits is one of Deck the Paws’ main goals. The two-day celebration will help raise money and awareness for the below-confirmed beneficiaries:

Wanna start your business’ holiday season on the right paw? Have a new product or service or fundraiser? Do you want to make sure your brand and product are in front of the right target market? Deck the Paws is the purr-fect pawtner. Just like catnip, Deck the Paws gets festival-attendees hooked on your latest products and services.

You are welcome to bring your well-behaved leashed pet, maximum leash length of 6ft and no retractable leashes are not allowed. Pets should be current on all vaccinations. Please bring proper cleaning materials as owners are responsible for clean-up of any accidents. We are not responsible for any incidents involving pets or their owners.

We do not allow pets to be sold at the festival by pet stores, breeders, etc. The only pets available are the ones up for adoption from one of our reputable rescues, which may require processing fees.

The 2018 Deck the Paws will be December 1-2 from 11 AM - 7 PM on both days.

Deck the Paws is located at Centennial Hall and Marine Corps Square at Fair Park.

There are two ways to attend Deck the Paws – via your own car or take DART. Guests can park at Lot 5 and Lot 6 after entering to Fair Park through Gate 5 or Gate 6. Fair Park is the property of City of Dallas and $10 parking fee is collected by City of Dallas. This is regulated by the City, and we do not receive any income from this.

If you are arriving via DART, ride the DART Rail Green Line to Fair Park Station, located on Parry Avenue and convenient to the Fair Park entrance at Gate 5.

Yes, you can! Tickets are available online or at the event’s entrance. The price of tickets on event days is $10 each for adults (13 and up). Kids 12 and under are free.

Yes, you can attend either December 1 or December 2.

Refunds are available through November 20, 2018. However, if you cannot attend, we ask that you reconsider this as a donation to help raise funds for our beneficiaries.

Admission includes entrance into the festival and several activities, shows, music, kids’ zone, and more. You’ll want to bring cash and credit cards to shop at one of our many fabulous exhibitors and for a photo with Santa. There is an additional fee for parking and concessions.

Fair Park’s Centennial Hall has a full-service concession area available offering a variety of different food options. No outside food or beverages are allowed within the facility.

Deck the Paws is a rain or shine festival. The majority of the festival is indoors.

Yes. There are small ramps at many locations to assist you getting up the curb, plus we have additional gates where our security staff can assist. Once inside the grounds almost everything is on one flat surface.

Smoking is prohibited inside Fair Park, per the City of Dallas.

If you’re still on the festival property, please go to the production office. If you are off-site, please email us and provide a description of the lost item.
