Han Solo Katy Trail Ice House

Han Solo Dog Holi-daze Kick Off on the KATY Trail!

Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk, I’m Han Solo dog: no time to talk! Walk, run, do a bike cruise, I’m always up for being outside. Two of my favorite spots in Dallas are the Katy Trail and the Katy Trail Ice House. One of our traditions is to walk three or four miles or run along the tree-lined shady trail, where I stop, sniff the grass, meet friends and enjoy checking out the squirrels.

On December 1st of each year, to kick off the holidays, we set a time in the late afternoon and head out for good walk on the trail and make a pooch stop at the patio of the ice house, which has warm outdoor heaters in the winter, lots of shade trees and mister fans for the summer.  Plus, my humans love the brew while I love to dine on a treat of beef patty.  It’s a pretty busy place, and I get to meet lots of other well-behaved pooches. Most of all, I just like to chill and see all the people along the trail. At night, the trees light up and the place is alive with color. It’s a puptastic place for this dawg!

Happy HOLI-DAZE! #hansolodog
