I think I drove my mother mad with requests for pets and we had many – cats, dogs, hamsters, a bird, fish tanks and even a lizard at one point. My first dog was a rescue his name was jinx as he was born on Fri. the 13th, he was a wolf/husky mix and boy was he one awesome dog; we saved him from someone whom no longer wanted him..he was about 2-3 and we kept him for several years until my mother moved us to an apartment. Our sweet neighbor had a son with a family and huge yard, they took him as their fur-baby, this left a lasting impression on me that there were good people willing to help animals. I’ve saved many pets who were out on the street; so many that I’ve lost count. My one mission – to always find them a good/steady home; because of this I think I’ve helped families add to their family with many happily ever after stories. My focus is to keep rescuing and keep helping where I can and when I can and as often as I can.
